Battle of the Squads Awards (AP1S2)
« on: March 28, 2010, 07:56:32 PM »
29TH INFANTRY DIVISION
116TH REGIMENT, 1ST BN
BATTLE OF THE SQUADS
AWARDS

Yesterday's afternoon saw the conclusion of our first cycle through Battle of the Squads. After intense fighting between the three finalists and a tie-breaker round, AP1S2 came out on top. I think some congratulations are in order not only for AP1S2, but also for the other 2 finalist squads (BP2S1 and CP1S3) and for all the other squads that participated in this cycle of BotS.

As mentioned, the below members of AP1S2 will be receiving a Meritutorious Unit Citation and a Weapons Pass for the length of a week. Congrats guys.

Cpl. Lev
PFC Lundqvist
PFC Friesenhan
PFC Ingebrigtsen
PFC Fisher
PFC Stray
Pvt. Zuhrich
Pvt. Purcell
Pvt. Sampson
Pvt. Dessaint
Pvt. Foley
Pvt. van den Dungen
Pvt. Ahtola
Pvt. Brickman
Pvt. Kamol

And to all the other squads, this should serve as an incentive to train harder for the next BotS cycle.

Outstanding work gentlemen! Congrats to all in AP1S2. Well earned  ;)
*Salute*

Thanks goes out to everyone else that participated in this 1st run of BOTS in DH. Your patience and understanding allowed the first attempt be completed and now after we review the pros and cons and make every and any adjustments, we may see the next BOTS right down the road! So get cracking at drilling for the next run.

Congrats!
If you imagine that modern war is about honor; its not. It's about winning, which means killing the enemy on the most unequal terms possible. Anything less simply results in the loss of more of your own men.
